On the first day of the conference you will be welcomed by a series of speakers that will introduce you to the latest developments in the field of space resources.

Amongst them, the Luxembourg Ministry of Economy, Franz Fayot and Dr Kathryn Hadler - Director of ESRIC and Dr Matthias Maurer - ESA Astronaut and Materials Scientist.

 

The opening session will include presentations from key representatives from ESA, NASA, JAXA, KIGAM and the Canadian Space Agency. The speakers will present their vision for international collaboration and the practical steps for the future.

 

The second part of day one will take you on a journey around the globe, featuring fascinating updates from key research institutions, followed by a series of talks and discussions focused on earth-space synergies. The day will end with a focus on the ESA-ESRIC Space Resources Challenge and the chance to get to know more about the new innovative ideas that came out of the exercise.
